Last Monday I met up with Rob to see the remains of the Dolphins at Lepe beach. These formed part of the pier heads used to load ships departing for Normandy on D-Day. A quick Google resulted in a video of the remaining constructions which can be seen here.

This image is a 10 minute exposure on a 70-200 zoom at sunset. The Spinnaker Tower at Portsmouth can be seen on the horizon.
