The Clavell Tower on the headland is in the process of being moved back from the edge safe from further coastal erosion. According to the Landmark Trust the project is costing £898,000 and once restored, it will be let for holidays and its rental income will pay for its future on-going maintenance thus giving it a secure future. The project will take approximately 18 months to complete.
