Mupe Bay

Mupe Bay
24 April, 2007
Mupe Bay, Dorset. This is about an hour's walk along the cliff path from Lulworth Cove and is only open when the Army decide not to use live shells. I've wanted to see the bay for some time (these were taken earlier this month) after seeing Adam Burton's shot. So off I went knowing that the haze, the sky and the time of day wouldn't do the bay justice.

The top shot is taken from the path approaching the bay and is handheld lying on the path as the wind was so strong as to render a tripod pretty much useless. The second shot is a 25 second exposure but the haze was a killer. But at least I saw the bay and will be back in winter.

Whilst on the path, 02 sent me a text message saying 'Welcome to O2 roaming and to France'.

[1/160 sec @ f/11 - 40mm handheld]
