Walking the dog
27 November, 2006
This was taken in January this year (I'm going through various old files and am being robust with my old material). I think that if I'd taken it today, I would have been more careful with the filters and hopefully would have ensured that the sky wasn't 'blown' in places. But then again...! Sometimes I feel that I get too hung up on the technicalities and worry too much about focal lengths, ISO speeds and f-stops.

I'd seen this dog walker on my previous visits to West Wittering - I think the dog was a Bernese Mountain Dog and it had wandered over to see what I was up to. I had a little chat with Mrs Bernese about the light on the horizon and off she went and as she did, I took one photo.
