 Keyhaven clouds 05 October, 2006 From the shingle at Keyhaven looking towards the Isle of Wight and the Needles. I tried various experiments with shutter speeds whilst the sea flowed back along the shingle (I find it's more satisfactory to capture the waves like this), and half a second seemed about right. Wearing wellies was a bonus as I could get out into the surf. There's strong lighting from the west which has caused some imbalance as the sun dipped behind haze over Christchurch.
