On the beach

Thanks for all your comments on yesterday's photo. A couple mentioned the post/person at the end of the sandy path. Well, it was a lifebelt post which was about the only thing on the entire beach. I had to wait for 10-15 minutes or so for the sun to shine through the relatively heavy cloud cover and also hope that no-one decided to set up camp there or cast their shadow into the frame! Still, always have time to sit and look out to sea.

What you can see on the horizon at Brittas Bay is a small wind farm at Arklow. It's not built on any headland and it seems that it's only accessable by boat - I took a few photos at the 200mm end of my zoom but they were...er...'challenging' to say the least.
