Saltburn III
10 June, 2006
Saltburn pier just as the sun was setting. I had in mind the shot I wanted and had to work quickly as there were a few strollers along the pier. The wooden slats were surprisingly flexible as I could feel the “bounce” as people were approaching which might have induced some shake and I wanted to capture the clouds almost fanning out along the horizon. The tripod legs were also hanging off the edge (one of the legs is slightly loose too…). In retrospect I could have increased the exposure slightly to further blur the waves.
