and watch your gloves

Managed to nip out to Wittering today. Well, I say nip out but it's still an 80 mile round trip from Southampton. Still, I was there by 6 and so was the sun. And the wind. The sand was fairly whipping along the beaches and dunes. I've already acquired a slight crunch on manual focus on my 17-40 lens from previous exposure to the sand. This photo is right at the tip of East Head - there's a channel in front for the harbour and the tide is fairly strong. Behind the dunes are the salt marshes managed by the National Trust. The sign is in full sun.

And today is 200 blog photos to date.
