 castle house 17 December, 2005 This is Castle House near Southampton old town. There are Tudor buildings nearby. It was part of the post-war regeneration (the whole area was bombed due to its proximity to the docks) and it was once one of a pair but the other was demolished to make way for the West Quay development. It must be 12 or 15 storeys tall. The winter sun gives an almost ethereal glow ;-) Comment (1) | Permalink |
